Ingredients :
400 g chicken meat, cut into large cubes
1 carrot, cubed
1/2 cup green peas
2 potatoes, quartered
(aku ganti ngn tomato)2 hard boiled eggs, quartered
(xgune pon)1 tsp corn flour, mixed with a little water to form a paste
(xgune,sbb aku gune prego pasta sauce)2 tbsp oil
(aku gune lam 6-7sudu camtu.. saje tmbh kolestrol..hehe)Short Crust Pastry :
400 g flour
(tpung gndum aja)250 g cold butter or margarine
pinch of salt
cold water to mix
Method :
1. In a bowl sieve the flour and salt together.
2. Add butter and cut into little cubes.
3. Then rub in butter lightly.
4. Mix in a little cold water at a time to form a pliable dough.
5. Knead lightly and leave to rest in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
6. Heat a pan with oil and fry the chicken, carrot and
tomatoes for a few minutes.
7. Then add salt and pepper to taste and
prego pasta sauce.
8. Leave to cook on low heat until chicken and vegetables are tender.
9. Then add in the green peas, stir fry and dish out.
10. Leave to cool.
11. Roll out pastry on a lightly floured board.
12. Grease a 20 cm round pie dish and place cooled chicken filling in.
(aku xgrease pon..teros letak pastry tu,tekan lebey kurang n buh inti) 13. Arrange quartered boiled eggs on top and then cover with pastry.
(aku xcover pon,n aku xgune eggs) 14. Trim pastry edges and flute with a fork.
(xyah buat la kalo dah xcover..haha..) 15. Prick two holes in the center of the pastry.
(ni pon xbuat)16. Bake in moderate oven for 20 - 30 minutes or until pastry is done.
17. Remove from oven and cool slightly, before serving
